WPLGA  (Women's Public Links Golf Association) plays ever 2nd Thursday
Please check their website for current updates.  WPLGA.net
WPLGA does not have a Local Rule allowing players to play from the fairway under
penalty of 2 strokes if their ball is lost or out of bounds when playing in our Major tournaments or
Association Days at any club. A Provisional ball should be played if the player thinks that her ball
may be lost or out of bounds.
LACWGA  (Los Angeles County Women's Golf Association) plays every 4th Thursday

Lost Ball Rule for LACWGA (but not for WPLGA):LACWGA does have the Local Rules allowing the player to drop her ball in the fairway, within 2 club lengths, from the place she thinks that her ball was lost or out of bounds and take her 2 stroke penalty.
